I do wonder sometimes that is the best way to bet to get money back. Bet just for the win, or bet each way with more money slanted towards the place bet to recover the cost.

Maybe exacta better given better odds.

Could have 4 selections for the exacta boxed. Should cost $12 per exacta.

Welll if you do change the way you bet, I suggest that you should keep records of your first betting plan. That way you will know after 50 selections etc which one has worked better.
