Is the purchase price a yearly payment or a once only payment?

The purchase price is a once only payment. There is nothing further to pay. For $275 GST inclusive or $250 tax free for overseas residents you obtain:

The Racetext International program and module for interface to a TAB betting program.

The module allows bets calculated by the Racetext International program to be passed to your TAB betting program for submitting to the TAB. There is no typing of bets into the TAB betting program. It is all done quickly with easy mouse clicks. If you pass your bets in via telephone you will not need the optional module.

What prices can the Racetext program work with?

The Racetext program works with the NSW TAB, SuperTab and UniTab sites on the internet. The Racetext program also works with the Victorian TAB by reading race prices from teletext. The NSW TAB and UniTab do not provide a teletext service.

I have a teletext decoder. Is it necessary to be registered with Telstra for Teletext or does the program provide the info directly to the decoder?

The program reads teletext from a Carbuhn Teletext Processor box, Carbuhn DirectText box or a Carbuhn Teletext Card or a Textmaster card. There is no registration requirement for teletext - it is free to air. The decoder will pass the teletext to the program.

The program reads race prices either from teletext or directly off the TAB internet sites. A significant cost saving advantage of the program is that by reading internet prices there is no expensive initial purchase of a teletext or datacast decoder which run into several hundred dollars.
