Form into Excel

Hi guys,

I've looked around at a number of form providers to replace the form I was able to import to Excel for free from cyberhorse. It seems there are only 2 that have the detail I'm after to make my ratings and/or systems work however I fear I may have some trouble getting them to import both correctly and smoothly.

I'm hoping/wondering some kind soul out there is able to help me get the form importing into excel in a useable manner much like Shaun's sheets did for cyberhorse or do for sky racing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated however if nobody has the spare time etc then i'll have to give it a crack myself. I'm just worried my VBA knowledge, or lack of, may mean that it doesn't run as smoothly as it could/should.

I'm not sure I can post the names of these form providers here so i'll post my email address for anyone thats interested.

Cheers

I use the Bet Selector data to do my ratings, it has all the form factors I need (plus the pre-post prices and UNITAB ratings if you want to use them) all neatly available in CSV format. $55/month is money well spent.

Mattio, don't suppose there's anywhere to get a sample of a CSV file as I am interested in what detail they provide.

I asked for a sample csv file but was told I needed BetS to use the form files. There is a free version of BetS available to do that.

The sample files provided were dbf files not csv. still usable in Excel.
I take it they were already processed by BetS which uses dbf data files.

If you are winning, then $55/M is not too bad, if losing, well any additional cost is an added burden.

stugots,

Email me at mat at sportofkings dot com dot au.

blackdog1,

Correct, you do need their software to get the CSV data but I have a spreadsheet and macro designed to pull the DBF data straight into excel which then feeds my ratings master file. Yes it's $55/month and you have to be winning to make it work for you.

Cheers,

Mat.

The only problem is the data is incorrect most of the time
