This 4yo is having his 5th run in 34 days. 3 of previous 4 runs were on slow/heavy. What do people think of a 4yo having so many runs within a short amount of time?

In fact this is his 11th run in 3mths.

There is no rule of thumb when it comes to the frequency of starts, as every horse is different. Some horses will have one run and then they spell it. Other horses can run many races in a short period of time. I do think the trainer is pushing the limits a little with a 4yo.

Remember Nothin' Leica Dane...they definitely pushed a good horse too far and ended up with banana!

SA's last run was enormous given the way the race was run and the position it had to come from. The bottom line is that in my opinion, it cannot win tomorrow, but may struggle a place. I could be wrong, that's just my take on the race.

If he had drawn a better barrier, I am sure he would have won.

The winner came from 16 and had a similar deep run so no real excuse for Storm Attack.
Watch the replays. Gypsy Lad from 2 almost fell at the 1000 and ran into 274 dead ends in the straight - finished as well as anything.
Sometimes the inside draws are worse than the outside.

The Big Ask is a horse to follow. Will win better races in the spring.

Might even be a chance in the cup. The Mackinnon or the Saab Quality would a good lead up race.
