Mo, I don't know what sport you're talking about.

To make it clear here are my records from 2002-2004 in both sports:

NRL 194-144
AFL 190-141

ie my system is just as good at AFL as it is at NRL.

What I mean is I believe you have been betting on NRL for some time but only a few months on AFL.
And if you were betting successfully on NRL,why would you dabble in AFL.

Mo

i hope i can hang on for a couple of more weeks.

The rope is for that.
Especially after the Colliwobbles.

Originally needed the rope because I deterred Mr J from backing the Tigers against the Lions.
He backed them regardless and my multis came home.Life is looking rosy again.

Well in terms of knowledge etc, rugby is my best sport (Super 12s). I know enough about NRL, and am learning about AFL.

I only started betting NRL and AFL about
5-6 weeks ago. I've been using my system since week 6 of the super 12s though.

I didn't 'dabble' in AFL. I just tried the system on AFL and NRL (ie tested it) and it worked. So why not bet it?

The system does not require me to have ANY knowledge of the sport. It just uses statistics I've collected and put into a database.

I never expected it to profit at AFL, but it does, and just as well as it does at NRL, so it's definately worth betting.

Well, there's my knowledge.I thought NRL and rugby were the same.
Many nights I don't sleep well and just can't get turned on by either of them.
Gambling might be a business, but I like to bet on a sport that I get some sort of pleasure in watching.

By rugby I mean Super 12s.

Don't get me wrong Mo, I love sports. A bet on a game does make it exciting since it gives me a team to go for.

For me the enjoyment derived from watching a game I bet on is just a bonus from an invesment I make. The bets I make are done so in a strictly professional manner, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy what I do

If I lose, it doesn't bother me. It's just one of many bets I make, and no individual bet is financially significant (in relation to my bankroll).

Yeah,that's my problem.
My bets are a significant part of my bankroll.
And if you are betting, say 1% of your bank per bet,you must have a bankroll of about 100 grand.
In my situation,my total life savings is only about $12,000 and I'm not prepared to risk it.
I guess it must be wonderful to have real faith in your punting scheme.
If I ever crack my depressive personality,I might learn to be more confident and more focussed on my punting situation.
