Make Money Betting Horses

Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.

Randwick

Beauty Watch:
The Gai Waterhouse trained filly didn't have the best of luck in the 3YO Fillies Group 1 Flight Stakes and finished second by a long neck to Fashions Afield. Beauty Watch, who has only raced five times, has plenty of improvement in her.

Flemington

Gonski:
This Tim Martin trained 3YO colt showed his class with a strong win in 3YO Listed company over 1410 metres.

Mary Marvel:
Bart Cummings' 3YO filly was noticed making good ground to finish third over 1610 metres in the 3YO Fillies Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes. This filly is being aimed at the Oaks.

Confectioner:
Third up from a spell, this David Hayes trained 5YO gelding was 16th. at the 400 but finished strongly in the Group 2 Turnbull Stakes over 2000 metres. Only champion 2003 and 2004 Melbourne Cup winning mare Makybe Diva and Lad Of The Manor finished ahead of him. Could Confectioner win the Caulfield Cup?
