Are you are a serious punter?
Are you prepared to be disciplined in order to win?

If so please read on.

We all agree that sensible people wouldn't take $1.50 about heads or tails on the toss of a coin. They'd want even money - $2.00.

Betting on horses is no different!

We look after our members. We don't want our members taking any odds available about a horse. Because when punters back horses and don't know the right odds to take it can be no different to taking $1.50 about heads or tails on the toss of a coin.

That's why most punters lose money.

So of course we give you each Gold Special with our professionally worked out dollar odds that you need for value to help you become a smart, winning punter.

This completes another successful six months, March 2006 - August 2006.
The results have been:

56 bets
14 winners
Outlay: 1293 units
Return: 1897 units
Profit: 604 units
Profit on turnover: 47%
Average bet: 23 units
Average odds of winners: $6.00

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
It was close to a massive winning day for our Gold Specials at Rosehill. He's No Pie Eater, $21.00, finished second by a nose. Talk about bad luck! It was a 14 units bet. Shanambah, 25 units, started at $8.00 and also finished second. Our 21 units bet missed a place. We left the Caulfield meeting alone.

Saturday, 12 August, 2006

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
We had four Gold Special bets. Okay Oky, a 21 units bet, won with $5.00 available. Profit 84 units. Our other three bets, which had a total outlay of 82 units missed out.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
We had two bets. At Warwick Farm, Tor's Dancer, an 18 units bet, was solidly backed from $6.50 to $4.80 and finished second. At Moonee Valley, Riceman, a 27 units bet was disappointing, despite money for it in the betting ring where it firmed from $4.60 to $4.20.

Saturday, 22 July, 2006

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
We did the right thing and left the Rosehill meeting on a Heavy track alone. The results there were horrible for most punters. Based on TF bookmaker odds there was just one bet at Caulfield. Gone Critical, 18 units, was unplaced.

Saturday, 15 July, 2006

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
While we gave out six possible bets, based on TF bookmaker odds there was just one bet at Moonee Valley. Presenting, 26 units, finished fourth. It was a day which clearly showed the importance of betting selections with minimum odds, not just taking the best odds available about a selection because "it will win." Some of the horses went around at crazily short odds.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
We left the meeting at the Randwick Kensington track alone. How can you come up with sensible price assessments on a specialists' track like the Randwick Kensington, formerly called the Inner Track, when the majority of horses in each race have not even started there? Based on TF bookmaker odds there were two bets at Flemington for a total outlay of 42 units. Both were disappointing.

Saturday, 1 July, 2006

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
Based on TF bookmaker odds there were three bets. At Rosehill, With A Chance, $4.40, a 25 units bet, was an excellent winner giving us 85 units profit. The two bets at Flemington, for a total outlay of 45 units missed out.

Saturday, 24 June, 2006

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
There were four bets for a total outlay of 89 units. At Randwick Vionetto, $5.00, a 22 units bet was beaten a neck by the $31.00 bolter Mac's Tune. Artistique, $5.00, a 21 units bet ran third. At Moonee Valley Paris Zero, $4.20, a 25 units bet, finished second while our 21 units bet was unplaced.

As so often happens in racing, a neck or less is often the difference between winning, breaking even or losing on the day. That is why there can be large fluctuations with results. It's not the case of the selections being any better or worse from one day to the next. Only retrofitted, marketed racing systems have a smooth procession winning week after week. That is of course before their purchasers use them!

Please note:
We have used top fluctuation bookmaker odds to determine the odds available. This is the same method a leading Punters' Watchdog service uses to work out how profitable racing services are when minimum odds needed are given with the selections.

What are top fluctuation bookmaker odds? They are simply the highest price that was commonly available in the bookies betting ring at the racetrack where the horses are racing. Better odds can often be found in the betting ring and elsewhere.
