Make Money Betting Horses

Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.

Flemington

Romneya:
Second up Lee Freedman's 3YO filly had absolutely no luck, racing wide without cover over the 1400 metres at Flemington. Despite that Romneya signaled that she was a future winner, finishing a strong second, beaten only a half length by Lord Tavistock.

Time Thief:
Lee Freedman's 3YO colt impressed at his second race start in the $250,000 Danehill Stakes with a close second, beaten a nose, by Aichi.

Orange County:
Second up, Brian Mayfield-Smith's 6YO gelding ran a strong, close third to Bon Hoffa and Grand Duels in the $200,000 Bobbie Lewis Quality. It's worth noting that last time in Orange County won third up.
