Make Money Betting Horses

Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Gwenda Markwell's 4YO gelding continues its outstanding form and won in class record time. Rolling Pin now has six wins and four seconds from just 14 horse race starts.

Apres:
This 4YO gelding trained by Clinton McDonald was sent out at $4.40 and had no luck in running when finishing second to Royal Mail. Passing the 1800 Apres began to over-race and so had to be checked off the heels of Royal Mail. Apres then continued to over-race until the middle stages. Near the 1300 Royal Mail shifted in, inconveniencing Apres. Then rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight Apres was badly held up for a run. Apres has now finished second three races in a row, and is due for a change of luck.

Sent out at $21.00, John Wallace's 3YO gelding ran a nice third in a $100,000 3YO Quality Handicap. That makes five runs this campaign for one win and another four placings. This consistent 3YO is worth following.
