Fashions Afield:
This 2YO Gai Waterhouse Redoubte's Choice filly has won impressively both her starts. She could be good.
Eremein:
Another bold run by this 3YO gelding in the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes.
Caulfield
The Rhine:
Another promising John Hawkes' trained colt. He looked good finishing strongly for second in the Group 3 2YO Colts and Geldings Blue Diamond Prelude.
Casual Pass:
A great second up run for a close fifth in the Group 1 C. F. Orr Stakes by this comeback galloper. He won the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes in November 2003 before going amiss and did not race again until January 29 this year.
Doomben
Gumnuts:
Another impressive win by this lightly raced Bryan Guy trained 3YO gelding. His time was only 0.22 seconds slower than Mardi Gras' winning time in a $100,000 Fillies and Mares Quality Handicap later in the day.
