Bello:
This Peter Snowden 4YO gelding was sent out as equal $5.00 favourite at Warwick Farm. Jockey Nash Rawiller was unable to fully test Bello in the early part of the straight because it was badly held up for a run behind Soledad. Bello was a good thing beaten when it finished third, just a half length behind the winner, Gangster's Choice. Bello's strike rate is now 4 wins and 5 placings from just 14 races. We're sticking with Bello next start as it is race fit and primed to win.

Shanghai Warrior:
Pat Hyland's smart 4YO horse, starting at $8.00, put in another great run, winning the $150,000 Group 3 Aurie's Star Handicap over 1200 metres. Shanghai Warrior now has the excellent strike rate of 5 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third from just 9 race starts. We'll keep following this quality conveyance.

Second up from a spell of over 5 months, Darren Bell's 5YO mare ran a nice second behind Bellantina in a Fillies & Mares Class 6 Handicap over 1200 metres. Catashee will be fit and primed to win its next start.
