Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Randwick
Gold Edition:
Toowoomba trainer Ron Maund has an outstanding 3YO filly. First up from a spell she was too good in the 3YO Group 3 San Domenico Stakes. Gold Edition now has six wins and four placings from just 13 starts.
Dante's Paradiso:
Having his first run since New Year's Day 2005, this 6YO gelding finished strongly for second in Welter company. If he stays sound he is a moral to win more good races.
Flemington
El Segundo:
Clearly the run of the day was in the 1200 metres Listed Aurie's Star Handicap. Having his first race since starting as the $4.20 favourite in last year's Group 1 Caulfield Cup, and carrying 59.5kg., El Segundo was beaten for early speed. Darren Gauci also had some difficulty finding a clear passage in the straight. When clear El Segundo stormed home to finish seond to the Lee Freedman trained Bel Danoro. After that first up run trainer Colin Little will be expecting big things from El Segundo in coming months.
