Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Magic Millions Day Meeting

This Peter Moody trained 3YO gelding continues to impress. He beat the Gai Waterhouse trained boom filly, Fashions Afield, in the 3YO one million dollar Magic Millions Cup.
Mel:
This speedster led the field from barrier 13 in the 2YO one million dollar Magic Millions Classic. He only weakened over the last 50 metres. On that run there are plenty of wins in store for this Alan Bailey trained colt.
Sandown Lakeside
Safari Sunbeam:
This 3YO filly has now raced five times for three wins and two seconds. Her three wins have all been at Sandown. She can be backed with confidence, particularly at Sandown, where she should continue to have an excellent winning strike rate.
Toulouse Lautrec:
Returning from a spell of eight months, and having his first start for new trainerLee Freedman, this 5YO gelding lost no admirers. He carried top weight of 59kg. and finished second to the smart Cany Vale. Lee Freedman will get the best out of Toulouse Lautrec who is the 2004 Group 1 Queensland Derby winner.
