Make Money Betting Horses

Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.

Sandown Hillside

Light Vision:
First up from a spell this Robert Smerdon trained 3YO gelding ran on strongly for second, beaten a short neck by Something Anything over 1400 metres. Light Vision started at $26.00. It was a great first up run. You can bet the gelding won't be those odds next start.

Lord Sudurka:
Also first up from a spell, this 3YO colt got well out of its ground over 1000 metres, but finished strongly for fourth. This run was all the more meritorious as Lord Sudurka dipped at the 600. Lord Sudurka is a Sandown winner and has three wins from seven starts. He looks set for another successful campaign.

Ipswich Cup Day

Master Hugh:
Having his second start, this Alan Bailey trained 2YO colt was noticed making good ground to finish second behind My Man Murphy in the $50,000 2YO Open run over 1200 metres. With continued improvement Master Hugh looks to have a bright racing future.
