Make Money Betting Horses

Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.

Rosehill

He's Canny:
Gregory Hickman's 4YO gelding bolted in, second up, by three lengths. He should be well handicapped next start. look for another big run. He's Canny has the good strike rate of four wins and three seconds from 12 starts.

Sandown Lakeside

Miss Mooney Mooney:
With normal luck in running Lee Freedman's 5YO mare could have won the Listed Sandown Six over 1200 metres instead of finishing second by a long neck to Dr Nipandtuck. When last in work Miss Mooney Mooney won the Listed City of Marion Stakes at Morphettville. Now after three runs back from a spell she is fit and ready to win.

Doomben

Key Bar Nights:
Sent out at huge odds in 2YO Group 2 company, Bruce McLachlan's filly improved on her previous two good runs and nearly won the race. After leading, she was grabbed by Damien Oliver's mount, Keiki, and went down by a short neck. You'll be lucky to get huge double figure odds about Key Bar Nights next start.
