Going carefully, we passed on the Sandown meeting. There were two bets at Rosehill which missed out. Mystery City was trapped wide and weakened. The outlay for the two bets was 46 units.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
No bets. We fortunately decided to give Ipswich a big miss. The results there were horrible. We also avoided the weak Cheltenham meeting.

There were three bets at odds at Rosehill. The best result was Nena Candida, $12.00, which finished third.

We sensibly passed on the Ipswich and Cheltenham meetings. No bets.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
There were four bets for a total outlay of 89 units. At Randwick Vionetto, $5.00, a 22 units bet was beaten a neck by the $31.00 bolter Mac's Tune. Artistique, $5.00, a 21 units bet ran third. At Moonee Valley Paris Zero, $4.20, a 25 units bet, finished second while our 21 units bet was unplaced.

As so often happens in racing, a neck or less is often the difference between winning, breaking even or losing on the day. That is why there can be large fluctuations with results. It's not the case of the selections being any better or worse from one day to the next. Only retrofitted, marketed racing systems have a smooth procession winning week after week. That is of course before their purchasers use them!

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
There were two bets at Cheltenham. Hezabout, $7.00 and a 25 units bet was an excellent winner providing 150 units profit. Our 26 units bet was unplaced.

We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
