He backed up last Saturday after a tough win the week before, went up in weight to 57.5kg. and up in distance from 1000 metres to 1200 metres for the first time. Despite that he won, and won well, his fourth win from seven starts.

Starting price of $3.00 was not overly generous. You will find considerably less than one in three horses win who back up in a week, rise in weight to 57.5kg. and go to 1200 metres for the first time.
