Working out the True Count

The True Count (TC) = Running Count (RC) divided by the number of decks undealt.

RC=0 at the start of a shoe

Give cards these values:

(Disregard 7,8,9)

Each 2,3,4,5 and 6 counts as plus one for the Running Count (RC).

Each 10,J,Q,K and A counts as minus one for the Running Count (RC).

Staking According to the Count

If TC < 2 (bet 1 unit)

TC=2 (bet 4 units)

TC=3 (bet 8 units)

TC=4 (bet 12 units)

TC >=5 (bet 16 units)
