Members checking all the rated horses for big value may have had a few dollars on $51.00 winner Lyonell at Caulfield.

We couldn't follow up the previous weeks reults which included a huge $3,555.30 First Four in the Top 4 with the Box Four Trifecta also paying $1,316.70! However, there was a solid $448.90 Trifecta at Caulfield R7. (top 5.)

We rated 17 races from Rosehill, Flemington and Eagle Farm for 12 Top 4 Winners. There was a massive First Four from the Top 4 while Lucky Lil tipped another great winner.

It was a massive day for the ratings.The highlight was Rosehill R6 where the ratings found a huge $3,555.30 First Four in the Top 4!! The Box Four Trifecta also paid $1,316.70!

Lucky Lil's tips
Following tipping $11.00 winner Angusroy from just 3 tips, this week Lucky Lil Tipped $7.30 winner Prince Of Capers from just 3 tips.

Lucky Lil's tip Forty Thirty finished second at Rosehill, starting at $6.50. Members who followed Lucky Lil's adviceand checked the ratings for other horses at good odds if the tip was in a rated race found a big $16.80 winner, Kaypers, in that race.

Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, at around $3.50 was Streaky Fella at Flemington. Lucky Lil believed it was a $6.00 winning chance, so at $3.50 it was big unders and a Lay. However on race day it started at the value odds of $8.50 and won. It was NOT a lay anywhere near those odds! For Lucky Lil, at $8.50 it was a Value Bet, NOT a Lay.

Lucky Lil's tips
Lucky Lil tipped a great winner. Angusroy won at Eagle Farm starting at $11.00. Lucky Lil's 2 other tips missed, but members who followed Lucky Lil's advice and checked the ratings for other horses at good odds if the tip was in a rated race found two excellent winners - Baron Duoro $8.90 and World Wide $8.50. After a run of successful Lays, Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, Adnocon, did the wrong thing by us and won starting at $3.10.

Please note:
We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
