We rated 25 races in the four states for seven winners on top, 10 winners in the top two and a total of 17 winners in the top three.

Top rated winners which offered some value with bookmaker/tote odds available were at Flemington, Grand Duels, $6.00; Britomart, $4.20 and Electrostatic, $4.00. At Morphettville Capetown Lad, $6.30 and Copper Days, $3.80 in just a field of eight were good winners on top while at Eagle Farm, Woody 'N' Buzz, $4.10, offered some value.

There were no winners on top at Rosehill. Possibly not surprising as our information was prepared for a Good track and Rosehill was downgraded from Slow to Heavy after R4. It pays to be very careful when track conditions vary.

Third rated Brilliant Lies, $17.30, offered value at Morphettville, while for members who were using our information on the rain affected Rosehill track, second rated Hussta La Vista, $7.50, was a value winner.

There were plenty of exotics betting opportunities using the ratings as a guide. At Flemington R7 our top rater won and the $1,230 SuperTab first four was in the top five.

Please note:
We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
