Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 to $5.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take.

After scratchings Lucky Lil was left with just two tips. Neither placed.

First By A Nose had 4 selections, 2 at double figure odds, which were also disappointing.

We rated 13 races from Sandown and Eagle Farm for 10 Top Four winners including some excellent value. We were let down at the tough Rosehill meeting where we found just 2 Top Four winners from 5 rated races.

Trifectas, First Fours etc.
At Sandown the ratings found an $866.70 Trifecta (top 4) in R7 and a $137.90 Trifecta (top 4) in R4, while at Eagle Farm there was a $258.70 Trifecta (top 4) in R4.

Tips from Lucky Lil

Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 to $5.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take.

After scratchings Lucky Lil was left with just one tip. It was Shadowside, $4.00 winner at Eagle Farm.

First By A Nose had 4 selections. The best result was Kencella winning at Rosehill with $4.60 available.

As per normal we left alone the Saturday meetings at Gold Coast and Bendigo. We rated just 4 races from the tough Randwick meeting for 1 Top Four winner.

Lucky Lil is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 to $5.00 it is below the minimum odds Lucky Lil would take.

Lucky Lil gave 3 tips. The best result was Mahara, $8.10, which finished 2nd. at Randwick.

First By A Nose returned from a break!

First By a Nose gave 4 tips with Arctic, $4.80 winning at Gold Coast and Junoob, $2.45, winning at Randwick. Mahara, $8.10, 2nd. at Randwick, was also tipped by First By A Nose.

We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
