Jabali, $15.00, ran a nice second in the Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield. While at Randwick, Canny Lad, $8.50, finished second and Forever Crazy, $5.50, ran third.

We rated 9 races from Randwick and Eagle Farm for 6 Top Four winners. We left the Caulfield meeting alone. There were small fields or races full of horses resuming from a spell.

First Fours, Trifectas etc.
In Eagle Farm R2 there was a $189.30 Trifecta (top 4) and a $438.50 First Four (top 4.) There was a $1,304.40 First Four in Randwick R5 (top 6).

Tips from First By A Nose

First By A Nose is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 to $5.00 it is below the minimum odds First By A Nose would take.

These results include all the shorter priced horses that win and lose.

First By A Nose gave 15 tips with Kinnersley, $6.90, winning. Plenty of the horses that did not win were at short odds. Adorabubble, $5.00 SP, finished second by a short head at Eagle Farm.

First By A Nose is not looking for horses at short odds and whenever a horse is below $4.00 to $5.00 it is below the minimum odds First By A Nose would take.

These results include all the shorter priced horses that win and lose.

First By A Nose gave 19 tips.

There were 6 winners, however punters were having a big go at most of the tips so Five All, $5.70, was the only winner at generous odds. Hurrara, starting at $21.00, ran a nice second at Rosehill.

We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
