1. The horse must have been a beaten favourite at its last start.

2. The horse's jockey must have been an apprentice who either claimed or if in a non-claiming race would normally have been able to claim.

3. The horse must have raced no more than four weeks ago.

4. The horse's jockey has been replaced with a senior rider or an apprentice who has outridden his claim.
