An excellent Saturday for the Gold Specials, Top Rated Specials and the Silver Specials.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
At Caulfield Posadas, 28 units, won at $4.60. Profit from that wager 101 units. At Rosehill we had two bets which both finished second. They were Milonga, 33 units, $3.00 and Strong Choice, 31 units, $3.80.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
There was a total outlay of 63 units for a profit of 117 units. At Morphettville there were two bets. Terravue, 18 units, won with $10.00 bet. Profit from that wager was 162 units. Our Currency, 25 units, $7.00 was unplaced. At Eagle Farm there was one bet. Anwaar, 20 units finished second at $5.50.

Just two bets for a great winner. Art House won with $8.00 TF bet. Up to $8.80 was available on the tote. This horse was also given a good winning chance by us, being priced at only $5.50.

Another excellent winning day. There were 19 selections. Odds of the winners with bookmaker/tote odds available: $10.00, $8.70, $3.00, $3.00 and $2.80.

Ratings
From 12 races there were five winners on top and nine winners in the top three. In Caulfield R6 the $960.20 SuperTab trifecta was available by taking our top selection to win with the next five for second and third. Outlay just $20.00. In Morphettville R6 the trifecta which paid up to $1,778.20 was available by taking our top selection with the other rated selections for second and third. Outlay just $30.00.

A nice winning day for the Silver Specials.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
At Sandown we had two bets which both finished second. They were Dance On Board, 33 units, $3.00 and Jacqueline Rouge, 29 units, $5.00. We left alone the "novelty" Hawkesbury meeting which was substituting for a normal Saturday Sydney metropolitan meeting.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
At Eagle Farm Strawberry Malt, 25 units, $6.00 also finished second. That made three top selection wagers for three seconds.

Just two bets for a great winner. Flash Coupe started at $5.00 at Sandown and was an excellent winner. Our assessed winning odds needed of $3.80 were below the odds we price many top selections, so it was a great winner for us and the equal of a good winning Gold Special.

A nice winning day for the Silver Specials and Poseidons.

Gold Specials - Sydney and Melbourne
At Randwick Shaan, 17 units, $8.50 finished third. At Moonee Valley Collodi, 34 units, $3.20 was unplaced in a disappointing run.

Top Rated Specials - Brisbane and Adelaide
No bets today. Our two selections were both well under the odds we wanted.

Value Betting System - Sydney and Melbourne

Two bets. Purple Chocolate started at $7.00 at Moonee Valley and was an excellent winner.

Copper Specials
Horses priced by us at $7.00 to $8.50:
No bets.

Horses priced by us at $9.00 and longer odds:
Five bets. The best results were More Than Lucky, $26.00 and Pelennium $21.00 which both placed at Randwick.

There were 19 selections. We found $21.00 winner Carnegie House at Randwick as well as $10.00 TF Sydney Cup winner, Gallic. Odds of the other winners with bookmaker/tote odds available: $7.00, $4.60 and $4.20. An excellent placegetter was Pellenium, $21.00.

Ratings
From seven races there were two winners on top and five winners in the top two. The $15,334 SuperTab first four, Cheltenham R6, was certainly a real possibility. Our top selection won and the next three horses needed to collect the $15,334 were in our next six.

Please note:
We provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
