This filly cost herself the race after fighting Steven King in the straight, who wanted to take her off the rails to get a run. She's open to a lot of improvement, having only had three starts.

Titanic Jack no luck

In the straight race he never got a crack at them and finished third to Innovation Girl. With any luck he should have won.

He put in some big runs in the South Australian Derby and Adelaide Cup in May. From a Caulfield and Melbourne Cups point of view, he ran a slashing third in the Group 2 Weight For Age Craiglee Stakes over 1600 metres. He stormed home for third, beaten only two lengths by Northerly.

He had some difficulties getting a run, but finished his race off nicely first up. He will only get better.

First up and at only her second start she put in a massive run, hitting the line hard for a close third behind boom filly Victory Vein.

The 3YO colt was thrown in at the deep end in Weight for Age company and battled on strongly for second behind Lonhro. Watch for him back to his own age group.

Republic Lass is set

The Group 1 AJC Australian Oaks winner had no luck last Saturday. When finally clear she rallied for third behind Lonhro, finishing ahead of Shogun Lodge.

Universal Prince massive run

First up and lugging 62kg. in a Group 3 Handicap, this Group 1 winner finished a strong third. He's on track for the Melbourne Cup.

Miss Bussell - good to see you back

There was a lot to like about this 4YO mare's first up run. After settling well back in the field and having some difficulties getting a run in the straight she ran on for an impressive close eight behind the likes of Gordo and Universal Prince. Look for her over more distance.
